( he may not outright say it, but he appreciates this. dick, jason, tim... all of them, they want to be around him in some capacity — to know him or even keep an eye on him and given who he is to them in some other place, it makes sense. but it's an adjustment for him. especially when it's just him back in gotham still.

( that's all kyle is going to get from him and when he arrives at their supposed "meeting spot" as it's somehow become, kyle will find himself with some company.

a ten year old who seems to be wearing clothes that are a little too big for him because, they're adult clothes, and so they're quite baggy on him. he has the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and the pants cinched at the waist with a belt wrapped around a couple times and cut off to be made into shorts because... that's the best he can do for now.
when kyle arrives, he turns to look to him. )
