as soon as he's close enough that kyle's within arm's reach, jason's hand balls up tight into a fist and--swings right for kyle's face. the side of his jaw, because he's not stupid enough to try for his nose when he's got his fancy green lantern mask on. )
kyle immediately pulls up a construct shaped like baseball umpire helmet around his head. it absorbs the blow, but still sends him stumbling back. he's used to hard knocks, so kyle just scowls before letting the helmet disappear. ]
( it hurts his hand more than anything else, but getting kyle off guard enough to fall over is plenty. jason cackles, shaking his hand out like that's going to make the ache in his knuckles fade. )
I'd say brain damage, but I'm pretty sure I've been like this since way before then. I'll get you next time.
