( although, even as he says that, he's staring down at the handle his fingers hold to. )

[ kyle smiles faintly. no, bruce has never said it. so it's startling, but heartwarming all the same. ]

( pulling the on the handle, he opens up the door and drops himself into it. he doesn't know how long this is going to last, but. he'll figure something out. maybe after he gets at least one new pair of pants and a shirt.

sitting there in the seat of his temporary batmobile, he looks over to kyle. )

I won't be mad at you if you tell Dick where I'm staying.

( not all the others. also, he's ten years old at the moment and doesn't have alfred here. maybe it's going to suck a little to be on his own. )

[ but thank goodness he relented. ]

( just to try and get his point across, he might narrow his eyes some to kyle from the distance between them. playfully, mind you, but. in a very bruce sort of way. which still comes off somewhat serious. maybe a touch goofy given his age. )

( ok. maybe he smiles a little at that. maybe. but only because he's ten at the moment. but no thumbs up in return, just the closing of the door and the getting the feel of his temporary batmobile before he's going to drive off. )
