( jason hadn't spent a significant period of time with kyle before without picking up on a few nuances of what he liked. hell, hasn't spent almost a year in his space here without finding a few more. he knows kyle's an asshole, a tease, knows he follows jason's pace regardless on if he really needs to or not. remembers he'd said it was kyle's lead, but it was jason's pushing that led to them fucking around on his couch in nyc. jason pushing and pulling this whole damn time, and kyle just following the flow of it.

hands move down until jason's got palms spread over kyle's upper thighs. puts enough pressure it's clear he's pulling him forward, likely intending on picking him up but doesn't yet. )

[ kyle rests his palms over jason's shoulders, letting them slide down. it's very different. maybe he had been unconsciously trying to fit it in the same part where all his other loves had been. the same shape, the same structure.
( he's learning, still. how to fit himself in against kyle, how to use his words to express himself properly. how to lean into kyle, when it's okay to. palms slide down his shoulders, and jason's grip on kyle tightens as he lifts him up and off of his feet, a forearm wrapping under kyle to keep him up as jason holds onto him and tilts his head up so he's still looking at kyle once he's gotten him up and off the ground.

[ that brings out a throaty chuckle as kyle presses a kiss to his cheek and then to the corner of his lips. his own desires, huh? he's never thought of himself as someone who bottles it up, but maybe he does. he always found it easier to let other people choose.

his arm slips so it's more firmly around kyle, holding him up with the one hand while the other moves back to grab onto the sandwiches. he's not wasting shit he spent time putting together, even if he is moving to take them (and kyle) back out towards the couch. )
( kyle says it like it's easy, and jason's--stopping for a moment so he can tighten his arm around kyle even more. leans into him for another kiss. still soft, but deeper. )
( kyle's fingers press into his hair, and jason's - giving a soft, pleased sound against his mouth.
pulls back after a moment with a grin on his lips, still pressing close enough that the bridge of his nose presses against kyle's own, and starts walking towards the couch again. he's going to sit down while still holding onto kyle, making sure his knees fold first so jason doesn't accidentally test kyle's flexibility. )

( the sandwiches get set aside on the arm of the couch, so jason can raise that hand up and press his palm along the back of kyle's. pulls his hand over so he can press a kiss to his palm. )
[ he was half-teasing, but now the idea was fermenting in his head. he likes to draw the people he loves. he has sketches and sketches of jenny and donna and alex. why not add jason to the pile? ]
